There's no better way to kick start Carnival than with some Chutney Soca, tassa drums and $1 admission fee for the ladies.  We're excited. Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti organisation has raised over 1 million dollars since Tuesday's earthquake disaster. Trinidadian soca star Destra Garcia gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday, and did not name her Haiti.  Opting, rather, for Xiaya, following a routine delivery with no complications, the Bacchanal singer welcomed her first child "sometime around 11:00am."
