Thursday Ignite

It takes a certain amount of stamina to make it through Trinidad’s Carnival season. And if you think you’ve got that licked, try making it through three huge fetes – on the same night.
Beach House, Brechin Castle, Couva
This annual event makes its way to central Trinidad this year, setting up shop at Brechin Castle – an old sugar factory in the area of Couva. Renowned for its all-inclusive offering, a new location will do nothing to quell the infamy of Beach House. You should head to the various bars (yes, there’s more than one), and sample the local delicacies at the food tent. Shrimp, goat, suckling pig… Oh my.
Salybia All-Inclusive, Playa del Este, Salybia
Set far up along Trinidad’s North Coast, in the remote, idyllic Salybia region, this event is a Carnival household name. You can count on beautiful people, great food, and a plethora of drinks (just another day at the office). Enjoy the crisp ocean breeze, and keep the debauchery to a respectable level… after all, you’re very far away from civilisation.
Tribe Ignite, Jenny’s Carpark, Cipriani Boulevard
Make your way to the Reservation tonight for Tribe’s drinks inclusive rave. It’s on at the parking lot of Port of Spain restaurant Jenny’s on the Boulevard and you can expect all the sexy Tribe masqueraders to be in attendance. If you play nice, you might be sandwiched by Tribe twins.
Not a bad look for you…
