While some soca artistes are focusing on making hit records, and others are just into hitting people, we can't ignore the stand out few who favour the good old breaking-and-entering route.

So, a 'well-known' soca artiste (so it was NOT Mista Vybe) was arrested yesterday in connection with an armed robbery in Freeport.  The police say, shortly before 3 pm, officers of the Central Division Task Force responded to a report of a robbery at a business place in Freeport - a robbery which involved the artiste’s vehicle. While searching for the suspect, the officers received another report that the soca singer was also involved in a house-breaking in the area. The officers later visited his home and arrested him.  Both suspects and the vehicle were taken to the Chaguanas Police Station.

Such a wonderful start to Carnival.
