We've been thinking: of all the declarations made by man, the right to privacy has got to be our favourite. Surely, it's fundamental. And there's no better time to invoke that right than... right now.
Here to help you rail against all acts of tyranny (also known as your HR department), we present Mustique Island – an exclusive, private getaway in the Northern Grenadines, south of St. Vincent. Historically secluded, the island is home to about 90 individually designed villas spread thoughtfully across 1400 acres. Steeped in sophisticated isolation, and each with dedicated staff to cater to your every need (well, not every need... it's not that kind of island), the villas can take you from a French chateau to a Moroccan hideaway depending on your preference. We like the new Ilanga offering, a superlunary villa located on the southern bit of the island. This villa's exterior may throw you off a bit (a good thing to protect against 'arbitrary interference'), but once inside – forget about everything.
If you feel like coming out of your shell for a minute, check out the famous Macaroni Beach, the expansive, white-sand haven on the island's east coast. Also, head over to Britannia Bay, the island's focal point for nightlife, shopping and sustenance. Basil's Bar and Restaurant is the only nightspot on Mustique and is really the best (read: only) place to catch up on your binge drinking... or socializing, whatever.
Remember, you do have the right to leave your country too...
