Last Jam for Benjai

The International Soca Monarch organisers better be careful, or else soca star Benjai may never compete again. And they just might regret it.
Withdrawing from the semi-final round of the competition, held at the Arima Velodrome last weekend, Benjai stated that the band did not have enough time to rehearse his song. The organisers, of course, are to blame, since poor coordination and a lack of drinking water had adverse effects on the throng of artistes waiting to rehearse a mere day before the competition.
Caribbean Prestige Foundation chairman, William Munro, did not want to give too many details of the situation, but insisted that the show went on as planned (and probably will go on as planned every year) with or without Benjai.
