Kulture Shock

Trinidad's Fashion Week is over - its move to the Hyatt Regency met with a few new faces, chary acceptance of its bid to 'go green' and an overwhelming turnout of local fashionistas, socialites and general scene makers.  Click over to the Step Up Trini Style blog, which has been providing an excellent rundown of the ups and the way, way downs of the event.

And with all the fashion stuff going on, we were more than a little curious to check out the launch of KULTUREDclothing.com, Trinidad's new online fashion store for men.  Hosted by PR outfit Socialite Enterprises (think:  fabulous a la Samantha Jones, minus the promiscuity) at Drink! Wine Bar, KULTUREDclothing offers the styling and accessibility of European fashion, and promises to challenge the sartorial sense of Trinidadian men forever.

Sign up for perks and exclusive offers by joining the mailing list and take advantage of the site's Look Book.  What this means is a collection of natty trousers, shirts and accessories just waiting for you and your credit card.  Luckily, unlike some international websites, customers of KULTUREDclothing will have the option of using their locally issued Visa and MasterCard and... Paypal.

Paypal users rejoice!
