In the Bluff

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to run away.
In fact, we seldom need a reason to hit the road – and neither do you. All we ask is that you do it in style... and preferably on a beach, with a cocktail in hand.
Good thing we've discovered Curtain Bluff, a beachfront retreat on Antigua's south coast. Right on the edge of the crystal clear Morris Bay, the all-inclusive resort sits pretty on 20 acres of private peninsula; wedged between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic.
You're checking in to the Executive suite, a bi-level sanctuary posted on the higher end of the slope, perfect for exploring your new monastic tendencies. Styled with some funky bedside lamps, raw-wood ceilings and sunken living rooms, the only time you really should leave your room (other than to replenish your supply of company – the female sort) is to explore the 25,000-bottle wine cellar cherished by owner Michelle Hulford. Dinner at the resort's alfresco restaurant isn't a bad look either – French Chef Christophe Blatz even gives cooking and wine-pairing classes.
Think of it as the gift that keeps on giving.
