I Didn't Order Kim's Beating, says Kartel

Posted by The Editor on Tue, Jan 26th 2010, 21:12

As the dancehall industry becomes more and more like a soap opera, the latest drama unfolds with allegations that Portmore Empire leader Vybz Kartel sanctioned the beating of Kim 'Gaza Kim' Hamilton.

As mentioned earlier, Gaza Kim was reportedly physically assaulted over the weekend in the community called 'Big Yard', and Vybz Kartel extended his sympathies to her following the ordeal.  In this version however, reports have come in that Kartel himself sanctioned the act, allegedly ordering men in the area to beat her.  Kartel has since denied his involvement.

There are also reports that the singer is no longer a member of the Portmore Empire.  Vybz Kartel has not confirmed nor denied this rumour.
