Chop, Chop!

Chop, Chop!

The joy of being a carnivore is never short-lived.  And, boy, are we grateful...

And here to make it last longer is Churchill's Chophouse and Bar, on Grand Bahama island.  Churchill's is more than just another steak joint (or a rest stop before nirvana).  It's a fine dining establishment, and you should act accordingly.  Read:  wear a jacket on your back and a date on your arm; neither of which you should need help picking out.

Breeze into the wood-furnished piano bar for some champagne-soaked fine drinking before your meal (or after, if you want to be all regular). Beyond that is the circular dining room, where you'll be setting up shop, surrounded by French windows and white wainscoting.  Moonlight from the atrium ceiling competes teasingly with the heavy chandeliers, casting an ambient glow on the room's mural scenes.  A truly elegant setting, Churchill's atmosphere embodies the plantation era.

But the food – oh, the food.  Lobster and asparagus risotto shows up on the predominantly steak menu, along with braised lamb, and other sophisticated options like lobster surf-and-turf and grilled wild king salmon with grilled figs.

Just because you're a sophisticated kind of guy...
