Brandy. Wine. You.

There's an office rule that goes: if it has alcohol in the name, cover it.
Although we're not a merry band of alcoholics (not to say we're a grouchy band, but...), it was surmised that anything with a moniker that tends towards tippling, must be highlighted, enjoyed and incorporated in the company code of ethics.
Translation: Brandywine Bay Restaurant, on the eastern end of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, makes us want to obey all the rules (yes, even the one about getting to work before 2:00 pm). But what's in a name? How about open-air, cobblestoned Tuscan atmosphere for starters? This eatery was built on the site of an old gunnery overlooking the Sir Francis Drake Channel, its stone walls accented here and there by wrought iron gates, and offers the perfect backdrop to your dinner in Tuscany-via-Tortola.
Outdoor tables give you a gorgeous view of the other nearby islands, but you'll want to bring a date - these are candlelit outdoor tables. Elegantly casual, Brandywine is a romantic spot, so bring the boys and things might get... awkward. Get over it and get things going with the beef carpaccio, followed by a delectable roast duck sitting in a pool of mango sauce. Owner and Chef Davide Pugliese displays pure magnificence at his gastro-pub, especially when he serves dessert of Vin Santo e Biscotti.
FYI - 'vin' means 'wine'. See why we like the place?
